Note on the taximeter
Taximeter starts when the customer is in the taxi and it starts also if the taxi has to reach customer at an address provided by the customer by the phone.
After deliberation by the City of Lecce, of 26 may 2008, N°296 LecceTaxi applies the following rates:

IMPORTANT! If you book by phone or by e-mail, 48h before the ride time, you can enjoy the rates above, the taximeter will not be used and you will not pay extra for baggage, because the rates is fixed.
Notes!
Every user will pay exclusively the taximeter sum, except for the promotional rates above.
During the taxi ride, the user can ask for a break of at maximum 1 hour. In this case, customer will pay the amount shown on the taximeter and € 35,67 for the 1 hour stop.
In case of dispute, the passenger has to ask to the taxi driver to release a receipt of the payment with the following specifications:
- number of the taxi
- date and time of the taxi ride
- way covered
- amount paid.
